Status: unknown until launch. No official GTA 6 cheat list exists. Any site listing “GTA 6 cheats” today is guessing. We’ll publish codes only after testing them on PS5 and Xbox.
Cheats in past GTA games
Every main game since GTA III has shipped with cheat codes. GTA IV moved them onto the in-game phone. GTA V kept the phone numbers, brought back button sequences on console, and let PC players type codes into a console.
GTA V also set a rule we expect to carry over. Using a cheat turns off trophies and achievements for that session, and cheats can’t be used during some missions.
What to expect in GTA 6
- Phone codes are likely. The protagonists use phones constantly in the trailers, so a dial-in system fits.
- Button sequences may return for console players, as in GTA V.
- Trophies will probably lock while cheats are active.
These are expectations from the series, not confirmed features.
On launch day
When codes are found, this page becomes a full list with PlayStation and Xbox buttons, phone numbers, and a big-screen mode you can read from the couch. Join the launch list to get it first.
